Liam J. Edwards

Liam J. Edwards is an emerging songwriter and pop phenomenon hailing from South Wales. Classically trained and perusing their degree in Vocal Studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama while establishing themselves as a powerhouse performer with strong vocals and unforgettable stage presence in the Cardiff music scene. Their warm, powerful vocals stand in delightful contrast with their high energy pop style and radiant personality, resulting in a musical experience that is both touching and dance worthy.

Liam released their debut single ‘Scars’ in 2021, the lead single to their EP 'Unnecessarily Complicated: The Prologue', released December 2021,

which has since surpassed 30,000 streams on Spotify alone. Beginning their journey performing at Open Mic Nights at Porter's, they quickly gained popularity and support from organisations such as Opera Sonic, Anthem Cymru and Resonant. Liam performed their debut gig in July 2022 supporting HVNTER alongside Dead Method and Voya. Since then Liam has catapulted into success performing in venues all across Wales, with future plans to branch out into the UK.

With their bold motto 'Work Harder. Be Braver' it is without a doubt that Liam J. Edwards is rising to the top. The start of 2023 was incredibly strong for the non-binary artist, performing in Tiny Rebel Fest, Porters and headlining HMV and Elysium, as well as releasing an acoustic EP including a cover of ‘Send My Love to John’ by Rina Sawayama.

'Better Off' is the next highly anticipated single from Liam coming out on Friday 26 May 2023 on all digital service providers, with the final instalment of the ‘Unnecessarily Complicated’ EP coming in Summer with ‘The Epilogue’.
