Kitty O'Blitherin performs Arts in Public Spaces, Skits, Songs and Performance Poetry.
She loves to surprise people, make them laugh and hopefully reframe a place, space, situation or viewpoint. She also loves to create connections – between people, with places, with themselves. She works best at Meaningful work – Communities, Neurodiversities, Youth, Environment, Travellers, Queerness are all subjects and people she has enjoyed working with.
Recent work includes working with Aberration (Queer MidWales events) at the National Library of Wales, facilitating workshops, directing a short script, and devising/performing a piece from the brief ‘bring the pictures Off the Wall and Queer up the exhibition!’.
Kitty can regularly be seen performing with the band The Three Muppeteers, their recent CD ‘Bedtime Stories for Wayward Adults’ is available on Bandcamp.
Past performance work includes
- ROBOTS with Hijinx Theatre. Outdoor inclusive street theatre, touring Wales and Germany.
- the Abergem project: a 2-year 'Connect and Flourish' collaboration between Articulture, Aberystwyth Arts Centre and Boomtown festival, ending with an Equinox Event co-ordinated by Mandy Dike from AndNow,
- The Brilliant, Resiliant, Safely Distanced Damsels (walkabout during COVID, funded by ACW) – link below
- Unravelling - a poem and song commissioned for the Human Threads exhibition at Ceredigion museum

Kitty is the performance name of Cath RIgler, - facilitator in Arts and the Outdoors. She works regularly with Hijinx Theatre (at their Mid Academy, training up actors who are neurodiverse, devising and directing shows). She is a member of Equity, Nasa (National Association of Street Artists)and Y Nyth (Movement/dance collective run by Impelo dance)
