Only child of a Falls Rd, Belfast Dad and an English, strike leader Mum. Trained as a counsellor,Jane worked for many years in London for adults and children with A.I.D.S until the daily trauma triggered a mental health crisis that changed her priorities.  These days she lives happyily in an off-grid homemade tiny house, overlooking the magical Cwm Teifi river, growing food and working with other writers.

She describes herself as ‘an eco-feminist rebel-dyke poet’.

Her debut collection Slowly as Clouds (Indigo Dreams Pub) is held in the National Poetry Collection London. Jane obtained her Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Wales Trinity St David.
